The NIV Challenge

"Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?" Gal. 4:16

If you read the NIV and believe it is the word of God, you really need to take the NIV challenge.  Click here to take the test!.

All of who I am as a born again Christian rests on my faith in Christ alone. Where does the authority we have as believers come from?  I believe it is from the Bible, God's holy word.

I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. Psalm 138:2

Do you think there is anyone out there who would like to mess up God's Word?  Hmm. Do all Bibles read the same?  Ever heard a modern church trying to read the same verse out loud?  Sounds like a mumble of chaos.

Would anyone ever add or take away from God's words?

Revelation 22:18-19 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Those are serious consequences!  We see the original culprit revealed in Genesis 3:1,

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Satan made just one word difference. God said don't eat from ONE of the trees, and the devil twisted it into EVERY tree.  He is the original perverter of God's words and he has not left God's Bible alone.

Please don't misunderstand - this post is not meant to cause you to doubt your faith in Jesus Christ. But you should doubt your faith in MEN.

Did you know that there is only one verse in the whole Bible that tells us we need to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ before we are baptized? That verse is Acts 8:37.  So why is it missing from the text in the NIV? (Look for yourself).

Or what about Colossians 1:14, where it says "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins." Why has "through his blood" been removed from the NIV? Do you really believe that you can be saved without the shed blood of Jesus Christ?  Satan would like you to.

There are some people who believe there are many gods and many ways to heaven. They say that every belief, if it's sincere, leads to the same heaven.  This is like saying if you're really sincere, all roads will lead to your house.

These are lies.

The Truth is that there is only ONE way to heaven and that is through putting all of your faith and trust in God's only begotten son, Jesus Christ to save you from the wrath to come.

ONLY ONE WAY

Some Christians say there are many bibles and they all say basically the same thing. But this is a lie, too. And just as God gave us only One Way, there is also only one Bible.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  Matthew 7:13-15

As a Christian, my faith in Jesus Christ is based on the words of God and not the words of men.  When I found out there was a difference between modern Bibles and the King James Bible I was astonished -- and angry. Every believer should be aware of this issue, the glaring ommissions of modern bibles and who is behind them.

What about you?  Are you still reading a modern version like the popular NIV or perhaps the NASV?  Did you know that one of the translators on the bible committee for the NASB publicly denounced his work on that bible? He is quoted as saying, "the deletions are absolutely frightening."  They are indeed.

Did you know that ALL modern versions are based on false manuscripts?

Click here to see how the modern versions attempt to remove the diety of Christ. It is shocking. It is commonly thought that modern versions are intended to update the language. But this is simply not true. They are intended to eliminate the diety of Jesus Christ and discourage sinners from repenting.

If you read from NIV and believe that it is God's Word, then you should be willing to see how it holds up under a little scrutiny. Please take the NIV challenge.

The sooner you get educated on it and stop taking the word of “good godly men” the sooner you will be reading the King James Bible and trusting every single word in it as the Word of God.

Search the Scriptures Like the Bereans:
Acts 17:10-11 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
Try (test) the spirit
1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

The Truth will make you free
John 8:31-32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
